Since 2003, AJBS has been fortunate to enter a cooperative agreement with the Academy of International Business (AIB)
to jointly hold AJBS conferences with the AIB annual conference. This allows AJBS members to participate conveniently in
both our small, specialized conference focusing on Japan, as well the main AIB conference, which is the leading forum for
international business studies. This joint conference arrangement also helps AJBS to avoid the significant financial risks
that a small conference would bear when booking conference facilities and making hotel room guarantees on its own.
In keeping with the joint conference arrangement, AJBS attendees must register for both the
AJBS and AIB conferences. To simplify the registration process, you may register for the AJBS and AIB conferences together
through the Academy of International Business only. Membership dues for AIB and AJBS also may be paid together with conference
fees at the time of conference registration. Please note that conference registration is not available through AJBS.
