Paper Submission Guidelines

Paper Submission Guidelines

Papers should be no more than 35 total pages including title page, abstract page, text, exhibits (figures, graphs and tables), footnotes and references.  The references and format should follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.

Papers to be presented will be selected by blind review procedures.  Please word your paper so that only the title page reveals authors’ names and affiliations.  The title page should also show complete addresses and phone numbers and emails of all authors and specify who will attend the conference to present the paper.  Appropriate topic area (e.g. HRM, finances, etc.) may also be listed on the title page.

The abstract page for each paper, symposium, etc., should include the title and an abstract no longer than 100 words, but should not report the authors’ names.

Submissions should be submitted in an MS-Word (or compatible) Text document (not PDF) in Times 12-point font and be double-spaced on 8.5 X 11 inch paper (US Letter).  Use margins of 1 inch on every side.  Maximum page lengths specified above are based on the Times 12-point.

Include all diagrams, tables, title page, abstracts, references, etc – in one document.  DO NOT SEND MULTIPLE DOCUMENTS.

Symposium, workshop or panel proposals must include an overview statement, a short synopsis of each presentation, and a signed statement from each participant showing agreement to participate.

The submission deadline for 2012 AJBS conference is Monday, February 20, 2012.  Please submit papers as email attachments in MS-Word format to Johny Johansson ( johanssj@georgetown.edu ). Please put "AJBS Conference Submission" in the subject line for proper routing.  Following the double-blind review process, authors will be notified about decisions by early April, 2012.
