AJBS Conference Registration Information - FAQ
Registration for the AJBS conference can be confusing. Read the FAQ section below. If you still have questions, please contact AJBS at ajbs@ajbs.org .
1. Why do I register for AJBS through AIB?
AJBS is a small organization. It was reaching the point where we could no longer host a conference without charging exhorbitant fees. In order to continue to offer conferences, AIB was gracious enough to form an alliance of sorts with us. We would "piggyback" our conference with theirs and registration would be handled by AIB, with attendance at AIB being mandatory. Members are able to pay once for both conferences.
2. Do I have to be a member of both AJBS and AIB?
Yes. AIB and AJBS are two distinct entities. Membership must be current in both organizations to attend the conference.
3. Can't I just attend AJBS and not AIB?
I'm sorry - but no. On the surface, this seems expensive, but if you think about the travel costs involved in attending both conference's separately, in different locals, it is really a cost effective solution.
4. What is the registration fee? (dues are separate and must be up to date)
Regular Members - $130 (early registration) / $155 (late registration)
Low Income / Student - $65 (early registration) / $80 (late registration)
5. What link do I follow to get to AIB?
